Borrower's Last Attempt to Rescue its Real Estate: the Opposition Against the Auction Procedure

The Athens Court of First Instance issued a temporary injunction prohibiting the termination by a Claims Management Company (Fund) of credit agreements, with a total alleged amount of approximately EUR 4,000,000 at the time of the counterclaim, subject to the monthly payment of an instalment of EUR 2,500. Among other things, counterclaims for compensation by the borrower company against the credit institution that transferred the receivable were raised, as were allegations of a breach of the provisions of the Code of Conduct.
